BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwich

We have been on a pulled chicken craze lately. We bought roughly four pounds of chicken and just started boiling it up to see what kinds of tasty meals we could make. After a large batch of Chicken Tacos, we went for some BBQ style chicken.

Simply Fried Eggs for Breakfast!

I used to babysit all the time in middle / high school. I had a blast, especially when the kids started getting interested in cooking! We would always start with something simple but involving an oven or stove because kids feel accomplished when they get to use the oven or stove for the first time. Thus, eggs are one of my favorite things to teach first-time cooks (of all ages) how to make. They are versatile in their uses and tasty all by themselves.

Grilled Cheese, Tomato Soup, and Side Salad!

Sometimes the best meal is a simple homemade meal. My husband and I love grilled cheese sandwiches of all kinds. From gourmet to "slime cheese," we just can't get enough!

Easy Pulled Chicken Tacos

In an effort to find easy, cost-effective but healthy foods, we stumbled across this simple recipe for Pulled Chicken Tacos. We love pulled chicken and were excited by the possibilities of this simple recipe. Having used frozen chicken to make pulled chicken before, we decided to go that route as you get roughly 2 pounds of frozen chicken for every 1.25 pounds of "fresh" chicken.

Pasta Bake with Marinara and Alfredo!

My husband is always mixing sauces together to create *new* sauces. After mixing some alfredo sauce with some spaghetti sauce, he declared it tasted like "vodka sauce, or whatever they call that." Inspired by his creation, I decided to use my homemade marinara sauce, mix it with a can of Alfredo, and add some grated cheese. Thus, the Pasta Bake was born!
