It has been an inordinately long time since last I posted. My apologies! My only excuse is that school has started and I have little free time to myself. That being said, my goal will be to maintain postings at least once a week. I feel that this is a reasonable amount and hopefully you all will keep me inspired to post delicious foods to share!
I love grilled cheese sandwiches! They are easy to make and you can add pretty much any ingredient you like.
On this particular occassion, I has some leftover Texas toast sitting around that needed to be eaten. I decided to buy some avocados and whip up a particularly tasty grilled cheese sandwich! Check it out!
I love the Monte Cristo Sandwich. However, it is fairly unhealthy what with it being a deep fried sandwich and all.
So I pondered to myself and decided to test out a theory: can the Monte Cristo be delicious as a baked sandwich?
Read on to find out!
*Sandwich to the left is fried; baked version is bottom right.
For our third Meal in 15 Minutes or Less lunch, we are going to make a ham and turkey wrap. This beautiful wrapped sandwich is easy to make and, because the tortilla does not get soggy as quickly as regular bread, it can be made in advance!
I do not know for how long this has been a trend, but lately apples have been showing up in my sandwiches... and they're delicious!
I wanted to try my hand at making such a sandwich so I gathered up ingredients I had around the home and began constructing my first sandwich with apples on it.

As was mentioned in the "Focaccia versus Focaccia bread" entry, my favorite paninis used to come from the Blue Note Cafe. Unfortunately, as the cafe has closed, I am forced to look elsewhere for the tasty paninis. I requested the recipe from the owner and tried it out for myself. It was incredible! Now you can try it too!!!
Before we assemble our panini, we need to make the special tomato sauce.
